This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Pittsburgh is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Pittsburgh peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

You will not find better sushi in the city. Yes it is expensive, but itβs also so incredibly worth it! I donβt normally enjoy sashimi, but their fish was so fresh the flavors were amazing! Spectacular service and cocktails were very fresh.

Cost too high for portion size. Shouldn't have to eat dinner again later. Hand rolls were chopped up fish and tiny. Sashimi tiny. This isn't sustainable. The photo is a $44 "Plate" on their menu. 5 knuckle size pieces of fish. The better place is on top of Mt Washington.

This is THE BEST sushi spot in Pittsburgh! The beginning: Due to its popularity, we made a late 9 pm reservation and the staff was graciously accommodating in getting us in at 8. When we walked in, we were happily greeted by the hostess and taken back by the simplicity and vibe of the restaurant. At our table, we had a mini coat rack that was a nice touch for hanging our belongings. The middle: Our server, MK was a GEM!!! She gave us not only the history of the restaurant but also explained where the fish came from as well incredible recommendations that didnβt disappoint. Our cocktails were delicious, the sake was the best Iβve ever had, and the quality of the fish beat anything Iβve ever had in Manhattan (imo which Iβll own I was skeptical about considering this is a landlocked area). Also, the entire staff was friendly and worked like a SQUAD in a beautiful way that is telling of how well they get along which makes you know that the restaurant cares about their people along with the quality of the food. The end: The green tea tiramisu was perfectly balanced and before we left, we used the bathroom. Now, if youβve made it this far, itβs probable you would find that remark stra

Iβm in Pittsburg for a conference and had a beautiful stroll along Point State Park Fountain. Around 8ish after watching the sunset I wanted something on the lighter side and slightly elevated. To my surprise this was a 15 min walk from the park along the water. Once I got to the restaurant, I had no idea how posh and vibey the restaurant was. I read reviews talking about how hard it was to get a reservation, but on a Tuesday at 8pm, I was seated by the hostess immediately. I had 7 different hand rolls and all of them were DELICIOUS. At affordable price points (although the urchin one was a bit more expensive). I canβt believe how I happened upon this place so organically. I have a yearly trip here in Pittsburgh and will be back each time!

Genuinely my favorite food spot in all of Pittsburgh, but certainly needs treated as a rare treat unless you've got ample money to throw around. I've made it a point to try and go at least once a year. They import their fish from Japan, so everything is exceptional quality (unlike any other Iβve ever had) and the taste experiences are incredible. The toro, both salmon and traditional tuna, are both to die for. The lighting and general vibe of the place are honestly just as appealing as the food, as it's the sort of place that makes you feel like you're partaking in an experience rather than just a meal. As said before, the quality is top notch, but you will shell out a good bit of money if you want to satisfy your appetite. The first time I went here, I spent approximately $140 on myself. The second time was in a group outing, paying for another person in the group, and we got a little loose with our ordering of food and drink. I think, with tip, it ended up being close to $450-$475. I nearly died when I saw that bill. Do I think it was worth it? Yes. Can I make it a regular thing? As someone who sometimes lives paycheck to paycheck, absolutely not. Hahaha. If you're planning on
